Parque Tayrona is a natural reserve known for the beauty of it´s environment and for the many ancient stone roads and steps, built by former inhabitants, which lead to the pre-Hispanic city of the Tayronas (CIUDAD PERDIDA). You are never more than 85 km from the coast with it´s magical coral reefs, submerged gardens and underwater landscapes.

Parque Nacional Tayrona is located on the foothills of the Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta. It covers a small 15.000 hectares but contains a mosaic of terrestrial environments (thorny forest, arid forest, rain forest and cloud forest) and marine environments (beaches, coral reefs, marine pastures, rocky coastline, swamps and coastal lagoons).

The Park is not only nature: it is also people and culture!!!

SECTOR CAÑAVERAL – ARRECIFES:

We leave by vehicle from Santa Marta at 10:00 am and arrive at Cañaveral (cane plantation), we walk 45 minutes up to Arrecifes (Reefs). Tour returns at 5:00 pm
